Geography

In Cruinn-eòlas | Geogrpahy, learners are taught to think about the world in new ways, and to ‘think like a geographer’. From AS1 to Higher we aim to promote their curiosity and understanding of our world by looking at many aspects of physical and human geography, and some of the many challenges facing our world today, such as climate change. They will learn concepts such as sustainable development, globalisation and change, and develop a wide variety of skills including information-handling, critical thinking and decision-making. Cruinn-eolas aims to produce global citizens with informed opinions and a keen awareness of the world around them.
